Full Moon

For the last several nights I have had the honor of being awakened by the full moon shining very brightly on me. I just lay there awash in the glow and soaking all her wonder and magic in. This makes me want to create another from my “My Moon” series. The one posted here is from 2006 titled “ My Moon 1” the painting was taken from me and I have not been able to locate it; I am needless to say extremely upset over this.

So I can't wait untill I am in bed again and she wakes me up.

Thanks to my Mom

Encaustic Painting

Well I have started working in encaustic and I LOVE it. The translucent-ness of the wax/paint is wonderful. I also like that I can continue too use it with my other mediums, as in mixed media and printmaking. I will post some images at a later date.

2 BEAUTIFUL Finds

I found these two rocks on the road trip down the coast. I feel so LUCKY !! they are stunning. It was during a west coast sunset, the sunset was very beautiful as well. Inspiration abound. The photos were taken by my friend Wayland.
